A visual signal, such as a light, supplements or replaces the acoustic signals.
There are products with integrated signal transmitters or add-ons that extend existing products. Transmitters and receivers can be combined in one device or distributed across several devices. These products are used, for example, to indicate the doorbell, telephone ringing or an alarm to people with hearing impairments.
