Walking frame

Walking frames can be used to compensate for gait unsteadiness. They offer users more stability than rollators and are also used for walking exercises.

Few common criteria can be described for walking frames, as the individual products differ greatly and can be customized with accessories.

The products often have a frame with usually four ground contact points - for example, two fixed and two swivel wheels or four swivel wheels with locking option. There are walking frames with a seat, seat pants or seat belt as well as with supports for the forearms/armpits or with thorax rings to support an upright posture.
