The Phoenix I is the first lightweight wheelchair with SMART technologies.
With the help of sensors, the carbon fiber frame of the wheelchair always moves exactly under the user's center of gravity, thus eliminating the susceptibility of existing models to tipping over.
If you lean back, the rear axle moves back with you without the wheelchair tipping over. If you lean forward, the entire weight is transferred to the front wheels. Wheelchair and user are thus fully synchronized, which in combination with backward and forward stability leads to low front wheel resistance.
