Transport chairs

Transport wheelchairs are used for short-term transportation in the stationary area or when travelling at the airport.

There are transport chairs that are used in hospitals or care homes, for example. These are usually quite heavy and stable, as they are only used on site. Travel wheelchairs or other transport chairs for short-term use, e.g. at airports, are usually lightweight and foldable. There are also transport chairs for special applications such as moving around on the beach, as well as wheelchairs with a wheelchair function for short-term transportation of the people using them.
