The turning sheet is a turning aid for repositioning people in need of care and those who are heavy. One part is a very large sheet, which consists of a smooth, non-slip surface in the middle and a rough, non-slip surface at the edges. The sheet is pulled onto the mattress and secured on the underside with Velcro fasteners. The other part is a large blanket, the underside of which is also made of a very smooth material and the top of which is made of a breathable cotton blend. There is a fleece between these two materials. The blanket lounges on top of the sheet. The swivel sheet has two fixed straps with Velcro fasteners at the top end. These can be used to attach it to the slatted frame at the head end of the bed if required. As it is made of breathable cotton, the fitted sheet can remain in the bed permanently.
