Abdominal hernia supports

Hernia bandages, hernia belts and hernia straps support and fix the abdominal wall in the event of abdominal hernias.

The abdominal wall is made up of muscles and fascia (connective tissue muscle membranes), which protect the abdominal tissues from injury and support breathing, bowel movements and various body movements. If the pressure in the abdominal cavity increases due to straining or lifting or if there is a weakness in the connective tissue, abdominal organs can protrude outwards and cause an abdominal wall hernia. Hernias often occur on scars after abdominal surgery, on the belly button or in the inguinal canal.
