Light therapy
Ultraviolet light (UV light) helps with numerous skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne and neurodermatitis. Light therapy devices also supply the body with light energy.
Different wavelengths of light are used in light therapy (phototherapy). UVA lamps (ultraviolet A) generate light with an emission spectrum of 315 to 400 nanometers. UVB lamps (ultraviolet B) and SUP lamps (selective ultraviolet phototherapy) generate light with an emission spectrum of 280 to 315 nanometers.
