Urinalysis is a tried and tested method for investigating illnesses of the kidneys and urinary tract, as well as their severity and progression.
A urine test can be used, for example, to draw conclusions about diabetes mellitus, kidney inflammation or urinary tract infections such as urethritis or ureteritis.
